  I. RESCHEDULING / CANCELATION POLICY : As a courtesy, Hair Stylists & Artists that run their business out of Slek Salon may choose to use virtual scheduling systems will send email and or text confirmations and  reminders for scheduled appointments. Confirmations / Reminders are immediately sent out upon booking an appointment and typically 72 hours prior of the appointment. If your personal information has changed you will need to update your information under your personal profile under the associated booking system or you will not receive appointment confirmations or reminders. If you need to cancel or reschedule, you will need to contact the artist you scheduled with directly. Each Artist's information is listed under their Artist Profile under Albany or Clifton Park Stylists. All of the Artists are small businesses within Slek Salon and are in charge of their own business indefinitely.  48 hour business notice (Tuesday - Friday) is required to avoid  rescheduling / cancellation fees. If cancelation / rescheduling fee is due, future appointments will only be scheduled once fee is paid. If this is a reoccurring issue, the Artist may ask for a deposit to solidify appointment that will act as non refundable rescheduling / cancelation fee. If cancelation / rescheduling fee is due, future appointments will not be scheduled until fee is paid directly to the Artist. Rescheduling / Cancelation policies are at the discretion of the independent contractor  providing services.

No call no show - 75% of service cost. Not within 48 hours of business notice (Tuesday-Friday) - 50% of service cost.

​ II.  NO EXCHANGES OR REFUNDS : At SLĒK SALONS, we are dedicated to providing our valued clients with high quality products and services. As part of   this commitment, we do not offer exchanges, returns or refunds once the item has been taken off the premises in case of   

 tampering or contamination. This is to protect against potential tampering and ensure the highest level of quality and   hygienic standards. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to contact the brand's customer service directly   in the rare case of any issues. All of our manufacturers stand by their products.​

  • This policy is enforced for the safety of all guests.


 * If there is an issue with any tools or products, please keep your receipt (for proof of purchase if necessary) and contact the manufacturer directly.  All of our tools and product manufacturers stand by their products.​

 

 III.  THOSE THAT REQUIRE A GUARDIAN : Your childs safety is very important to us. We cannot assure their safety in this professional environment where   chemicals and heated tools are being used. We do not have childcare staff or facilities. This can compromise results,   relaxation, appointment time and experience for all  guests. Children are only permitted when they are getting services and   monitored indefinitely but guardian. 


​​​​​​​ IV.  LOST OR DAMAGED BELONGINGS : SLĒK SALON or its owner will not be held liable or responsible for any personal items that may be lost, missing,     broken or stained during your visit to either locations. We kindly request that you take extra care of your belongings and keep them with you. Please be aware that all contractors take extra caution with your clothing and belongings. Color, chemical or anything that could potentially stain is a risk. Please be aware of this risk and if there is concern, please communicate with your service provider so they can do everything they can to be extra cautious and aware. 
 

​​ V.  PET FRIENDLY : At SLĒK SALON, we understand that pets are a part of the family, and we are happy to accommodate them. Pets are   welcome in our salon as long as they are a trained, polite pet, on a leash, are being supervised by its owner indefinitely and cleaned up after. Your pet's safety and the comfort of all our clients is our top priority.  Pets owners are liable and responsible for their pets actions. Please understand that this policy helps us maintain a serene, luxurious and safe environment for everyone. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

​​​​VI.  GIFT CERTIFICATES : Gift certificates are purchased directly through your stylist of choice as each artist is an independent contractor. Each   individual stylists gift certificate policy and procedure is at their discretion. Salon products cannot be purchased with gift   certificates. The salon or owner is not responsible for any exchanges, refunds or missing gift certificates. For any questions   regarding your gift certificate, you will need to contact your stylist directly. 

 VII.  NON TOXIC ENVIROMENT FOR PATRONS & MEMBERS : SLĒK SALON does not condone any hatred, bullying or any actions or conversations that are purposely to offend or make any other person feel uncomfortable or unsafe. To keep Slek's environment a positive and relaxing space, we kindly ask to avoid topics like politics, religion, or anything that may feel heavy. If its unavoidable, we ask that you keep your conversation private and lower your voice to not create debates or discomfort as this space was created to empower, relax or positive fun vibes. There is enough negativity and heaviness in the world, thank you for helping us create a calm, uplifting environment for all. 

​ VIII.  SLĒK SALON understands that privacy is equally important us, us as to you. SLĒK SALON will not share or sell   guest information to any outside party, or collection of personal information. Whatever information is taken is strictly for   clients profile only. Online bookings are through a secure site via vagaro or square. Credit card information will not be   visible in the client profile. Personal data collected is for information notification such as email and text confirmations,   generic feedback purposes, and for general statistical analysis of use of the site and user improvements.

​ VIIII. FORMS OF PAYMENT : Forms of payment are at the discretion of each independent  contractor / Artist and are subject to change as they are all small businesses within Slek Salons. Each Artists profiles under Albany and Clifton Park Artists lists the forms of payment they accept. Slek Salons for retail items accepts all credit cards, Apple Pay, Tap Cards and exact change only for cash. Slek Salons DO NOT accept checks or money orders.
